Support for Flat Rate VAT
Solar Accounts now supports the Flat Rate Scheme for VAT. For more information, see our Flat Rate VAT Help Page.
 
Export Data
You can now export data to CSV files which can be opened in Microsoft Excel™ or Sage™ software products. To do this, click 'Export Data' from the File menu.
July 2008:
 
Purchase Invoices
Solar Accounts now supports purchase invoices, allowing you to track the outstanding balance for each supplier invoice. To view purchase invoices, click menu Window > Purchase Invoices.
 
Improved Credit Notes
Creating credit notes in Solar Accounts is now much easier with a customised window for credit notes. To create a credit note, click File > New > Credit Note.

Company Logo
You can now add your company logo to invoices and reports. Just click menu File > Setup > Logo and select an image.
 
VAT Return Guide
We've added a new step-by-step guide which automatically calculates the figures on your VAT return. To use it, click 'Prepare a VAT Return' from the Home page. There's also a new report called 'VAT Return Detail' which shows how these figures are calculated.
 
Easier Backup
Backing up your data is now easier - just click 'Backup Data' from the File menu.

New Reports Section
Solar Accounts now includes 4 basic reports, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.  All reports can saved as a PDF file and support 'drill-down' of line items to reveal the source of the report data.
