I want to list the customers in alphabetical order starting with their surname, but when I put in say BROWN S this is how it appears on the invoice. I would really like to show Mr S Brown on the invoice it is only for sorting that I need BROWN.

Hi Karen,

In the Customer window enter the Name as 'Mr S Brown' and enter the Contact as 'BROWN'.  You can then sort the Customer list by either field by clicking the appropriate column heading.
