I have a very small business of Mortgage Consultancy as well as,as a Linguistic and run them both. I just need a sysytem where I can record my expense sand income which at the end of the tax year meets with the required format of self assesment without the help of a accountant. I know a bit of accounting and have been submitting my self assessment forms to Inland Revenues successfully for last many years.
Does your system meets with my requirements at all?

Thanks for your inquiry. Solar Accounts is designed for small business such as yours and can certainly record your income and expenses. It does not produce a self-assessment report - you still have to fill it in manually. However, the expense categories in Solar Accounts are loosely based on those of the self-assessment to make it easier.
