Opening Balance

I opened my business bank account with a deposit of £1 from my personal account. I initially used the Opening Balance field of an account in Solar Accounts is not for this purpose.

Should I add my bank account opening deposit as a normal transaction?

Hi Chris,

Yes - if you are self employed then create a General Transaction from the Owners Capital account to the Cheque Account for £1.
