I have transferred some personal funds into my business account (ultimately to cover my income tax bill). How do I record this as it is not a business receipt.

Hi Paul,
Record a General Transaction paid into the Cheque Account. If you are self-employed then set the From Account to 'Owners Drawings and Personal Use'. If the business is a limited company and you are a director then set the From Account to 'Directors Loan Account'.
