Licence transfer

We have the 3 licences installed on different machines and now want to transfer one of the licences from one (Windows) PC to a MacBook. How do we do this without affecting the other 2 licences which are in use?

Hi Rowland,

Just uninstall Solar Accounts - the machine will then not count towards your licence maximum of 3 computers. To uninstall in Windows click Start > All Programs > Solar Accounts > Uninstall Solar Accounts.

Hi,

Please can I clarify this - I bought Solar Accounts a few years ago and have installed it on 3 PCs since. One PC is completely dead so I can't uninstall it on that machine, and one of the others has lost it's network capability. Presumably uninstalling on that machine won't make any difference - I'll still effectively have 3 licences in use?

Thanks

Hi David,

The rule is that if you uninstall the software or you don't use Solar Accounts on it for 6 months then the computer no longer counts towards your limit of 3 computers.
