Is iut possible to input customer invoices in batch mode?

If you press the button in the bottom-left corner of the invoice window, the window remains open after you save the invoice. Is that what you mean by batch mode?

Not quite although I am sure that will be useful.

I was wondering whether I could input say 30 customer invoices, one to each line, within the same screen then save all 30 after input has been completed.

No, there's no such screen in Solar Accounts. However, you can enter the data into a spreadsheet CSV file (one invoice per line) then import the file into Solar Accounts. See here for details:
