How do I update the software to the latest version ? and will it effect my accounts in any way in doing so,

To upgrade, simply install the latest version here:
http://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/download.php
This will upgrade your program and data file. The upgrade process designed to keep all your existing data (note: as a precaution it will automatically backup your data file before the upgrade starts).
