I am trying to delete an account that I set up earlier but have now decided not to use, but I get a response of :-
“Cannot delete account <account name> because it is the default account for opening balance purchase invoices”
It isn't (or if it is it shouldn't be!), and I have no idea what I have done to make this be the case. There are zero transactions associated to the account with a £zero balance.
More important...how do I delete it please ?

I'm afraid you cannot delete that particular account. I'll record this as a feature request in our development system.
