Opening Balance for Petty Cash Account

Hi Solar Accounts,

Is there a way to enter an opening balance in the Petty Cash Acc like you can in the Bank Acc? So, if i took funds from my business bank account and kept it for my petty cash say £50, how can i record the £50 as an opening balance for my petty cash account??

Hi Jasmine,

Yes - to set the opening petty cash balance just go to the Accounts list and double-click on 'Petty Cash'.
