Is there any way of printing sales and purchases day book reports (also returns day books)

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with the reports you mention. To see the full list of reports provided by Solar Accounts, install the trial version and click menu Window > Reports. Note also that you can filter the transactions list to show only Money Received (or Paid Out) and then print the list by clicking menu File > Print.
