Cash accounting for VAT return

can you tell me how to prepare a vat return when we operate a cash accounting system for the vat ie we do not pay vat until we have been paid

Hi Will,

To use the 'cash method' when Solar Accounts calculates your VAT return figures click menu Setup > Contact Details & VAT > VAT Is Calculated: When Payments Are Received.
