Utility Bills

Hi, I am intending to apportion a percentage of my utility bills as business usage, but the bills are payed from a joint account that is used for non business purposes.

What would be the best way to record this in Solar Accounts?

Hi Bryan,

I assume you are self-employed (ie. the business is not a limited company). In that case set the Paid From Account in the Money Paid Out window to 'Owners Drawings and Personal Use'. The Amount Paid should be only the amount used for business purposes.
