Can I use this software on both my office PC and home laptop with 1 licence?
I am registered for flat rate VAT and am currently finalising my year end accounts for 2008, my flat rate has changed from 9% to 8%, by altering this figure in the set up page will this affect how the system reports for 2008 prior to the change.

Glad to hear you like the product! Yes the Solar Accounts licence allows you to install it on up to 3 computers, as long as those computers are owned by the same business.
Changing the default Flat Rate in Solar Accounts will not affect any existing transactions, only new transactions you create after the change. (Tip: You can see the flat rate that is used for any transaction by clicking the small 'Up' arrow in the VAT Treatment section of that transaction).
