Sorry no, we don't have a setup guide. You set up your business by clicking menu File > New > Business File.
The most common requirement when using accounting software is to keep track of how much profit the business is making. To do that, enter income as described here...

Then you can then view your profit by going to the Reports list and viewing the 'Profit and Loss - Simple' report.
You can also use Solar Accounts to keep track of how much money is owed by customers and how much you owe to suppliers by creating invoices and purchase invoices - see our help page for details:
