We're trying to do an internal transaction where we're trying to take £200 from an expense account and enter it into an income account without any net effect on the cheque account. Can you help? Can supply more detail if required.

You can create a General Transaction that debits the expense account and credits the income account. To do this click menu File > New > General Transaction, then enter the income account in the From Account field and the expense account in the To Account field. Note that this will increase both your income and expense balances so your net profit will be unchanged.
