Transferring to a Mac later

I have used Quicken for many years for personal and charity bookkeeping. I'm changing from a Windows XP PC to a mac in a couple of weeks or so and need to find something which I can use to replace Quicken, which is no longer supported by Intuit or Windows7 etc. Solar looks good for my (mainly bookeeping) functions.

I'd like to do a trial run but wonder if I can go ahead and do it on Windows and then go over to the mac when up and running??

Can I download a trial now on my present PC and transfer it to the mac later??

Best wishes
John

Hi John,

Yes, a Solar Accounts business data file created on Windows can be transferred to a Mac at any time. See this page for details of how to move your data to the new computer:

(The process is the same for both Windows and Mac OS X).
