Do I need Java installed to run Solar on PC?

I ask because of the security debacle surrounding Oracle at the moment and also, the fewer processes than run on my machine the happier I am. So if possible I will remove Java 7.

Hi James,

Solar Accounts installs it's own version of Java (version 1.5), so you can delete Java 7 from your machine without affecting our software.
