Import from OFX?

Hi,

I just downloaded the trial, but was kind of surprised that the only import option to set up new accounts is CSV.

Im coming from MS Money, and so while I could probably export to QIF, and write some scripts to get it in the correct format, its not ideal.

Also most of my financial institutions provide OFX downloads. Is Solar accounts unable to import these too?

Otherwise solar looks really promising, but OFX is a deal breaker for me :(

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Sorry no, Solar Accounts doesn't support other import formats such as OFX or QIF. I'll record your email address to be notified in case we add this in future.

Im disappointed also. Need to replace MSoft Money, this looks good, but if I cant import credit card transactions from .qif file then its a dealbreaker :(

Absolutely, typing in everything manually wastes hours of time. It also creates data entry errors that waste even more time trying to find them when reconciling.
Bank statement ofx and qif import should be a priority for solar.
