I have quite a few customers who are also suppliers. I have created say the customer account first for "Joe Bloggs" as an exmaple, but then when I come to put him on as a supplier as well the system tells me the name is already used. So I have been creating these accounts with slightly different names, i.e. "Joe Bloggs (supplier)".
Am I doing this the right way or is there another option? It's not a problem, just wondered.

PS. This is a great system which I have now bought. It's a delight to use and ideal for what I do (farmer).

Yes, that approach will work. An alternative to creating a supplier is to create a credit note when you sell something to your customer - see this page for details:
