Software problem

When I click on my desktop shortcut to open any of my Solar databases, I see a rectangular window titled 'Progress Information' containing the words 'Operation in progress'.

This notification does not allow me to click the 'Cancel' option nor click on the red X to exit.

The only way to clear this situation is to load Task Manager and end the process.

This has never happened prior to the last few days but now happens regularly but not on every occasion.

PS - I have five separate Solar databases

Hi Alan,

Thanks for reporting the problem. When it happens again, please tell me:

1. What text is displayed in the body of the window? (ie. below the 'Progress Information' title)

2. If you do not end the process using Task Manager, does the 'Progress Information' window remain open for longer than 30 seconds?
