Please can we have a method where by the Money payed out window, when the keep window open after saved remembers the account you last used. Trying to enter lots of credit card transactions and having to change the account is a real real real real pain.

I'll note your suggestion as a feature request. As it stands, the best approach is to change the default Paid From Account by clicking menu Setup > Transaction Defaults > Default Accounts.

Why not post from the account via the "Account Activity" window or even from the Bank Reconciliation window.

The Account Activity window would have the same problem, but the Bank Reconciliation window would work.
