Is it possible to change the order in which balance sheet accounts appear. I would prefer to see fixed assets at the top of the balance sheet and list assets in order of liquidity. Is this possibe, and if so, how is it done?

When producing the Balance Sheet report, Solar Accounts always orders the accounts alphabetically by name. A workaround is to add a number prefix to the name like the:
101 Petty Cash
102 Cheque Account
110 Motor Vehicles
..etc
Note also that you can create account 'sub-categories' by click menu File > New > Account Group.
