Just finished the trial period and have purchased a license.
Just a quick question: How can I show a CIS deduction on an invoice I send to a contractor. I know for recording purposes I create a credit note for the amount but I need to show the amount on the invoice.

Thanks for your purchase. If you are registered for VAT it is difficult to show the CIS deduction on the invoice because this would reduce the sales figure on your VAT return - which would be frowned upon by HMRC.
Probably the best approach is to create a second data file and duplicate your invoice with an extra line, similar to this:

(the VAT rate on the CIS deduction line should be zero).
