Print and Email Directly From Transaction Window

Hello Mark

The 'print directly from transaction window' option is a very welcome feature which will save us a lot of time, but I am encountering a problem with the 'email directly from transaction' option.

We only use a web based facility for sending emails, so, if the 'email' button is clicked accidentally, Solar tries to open an email client which isn't there (as we don't have one installed) with a result that Solar just freezes.

Is there an option to disable the email button or anythng else we can try please?

Hi Stuart,

I'll note the problem but unfortunately there is no way to 'turn off' the email button - sorry. One alternative would be to install an email client so that you can simply cancel the email window when it pops up. A free email is available with Windows Essentials:

There's also a little program you can use that integrates webmail into Windows:

Don't know if it'd work with Solar, though.
