I have just needed to clear my Mac hard drive and restore everything from my Time Machine backup. Solar accounts is still there and the .slr file for my accounts. However, the programme will not open. Do I need to re-install it and if I do so will it still recognise the .slr file?
Unfortunately in the process of creating a full back up of my system I managed to delete the specific back up of my accounts.
Problem solved
I discovered that there was a software update window open that said Solar needed a Java programme in order to run. Having downloaded this it is all working properly and I now have a back up again!
