purchases using own cash

when logging a new purchase, I have used my own personal cash, how do i record this?

Hi Louise,

Record a Money Paid Out transaction as normal, except set the Paid From Account to 'Owners Drawings and Personal Use' (if you are self-employed) or 'Directors Loan Account' (if the business is a limited company and you are a director)
