VAT

I recently started a new company. The company is creating sales and purchases. I will need to register for vat very soon. I am assuming that I edit the company file to allow for vat. Will this effect my existing data on solar ?

Hi Konrad,

Yes - enter all the transactions dated up until your first VAT registration period, then click menu Setup > Contact Details & VAT > Registered for VAT. This will affect new transactions but leave existing transactions 'Out of Scope' of VAT.
