Can anyone tell me how to change accounts without closing solar accounts down.

for example.

Company 1.slr ( I have to close down solar then open )
Company 2.slr

On Windows you can simply double-click on the file in the Documents folder - this allows you to open multiple files simultaneously.

On Mac you cannot open multiple files in Solar Accounts simultaneously. A workaround is to export the list of transactions from one file to a spreadsheet and open it in Excel, then open the second file in Solar Accounts.

Or maybe..........Assuming you are currently in Company1.slr with Solar

Rather than opening up a 2nd "session", (which I find can be confusing), you simply go within the current open session for Company1.slr to

 File | Open | 

..........and then navigate to wherever Company2.slr is located.

This closes down the Company1.slr file and opens up your current session with Company2.slr in its place.
