Any chance of the Cheque Number as a separate field on money paid out on future development
At the moment I add it to the journal entry, but it is a bit laborious

I will note your support for having a separate cheque number field, but to be honest we currently have no plans to add this field as it would complicate the interface for novice users and the benefit would reduce over time as the use of cheques declines. So for the foreseeable future you will need to continue to add the cheque number to the Journal Memo field - sorry.

I always use the ID field to enter cheque numbers, much better
