Hi, I am using desktop version of solar accounts on windows 8.1, it was working fine with Thunderbird email client until I have installed windows live mail, when it started to force windows live mail even if the thunderbird was my default email client. I have now got rid of windows live mail and have only thunderbird which is set up as a default email client, but solar gives me the note that there is no email client and I should set up one in control panel, i have tried to reinstall but this did not helped, is it something you could help me with?

Please try re-installing Thunderbird and then restart your computer. If you still have the problem try reverting your Windows installation to a previous restore point as described here:
