Windows 10

Just trying out Solar on my new W10 laptop.

All seems to be working ok except for the date fields on Transaction listing. Too narrow

The calendar drop downs work ok but the fields themselves are not wide enough and it is not possible to see all the digits of the date. I can edit a date by scrolling in the date box but cannot see all of it.

I have tried changing the screen text size but that has no impact - same problem, just smaller numbers and date box.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Alan

Supplementary comment:

All the dialog boxes in the reports can be stretched so that the date boxes are big enough EXCEPT Outstanding Purchase Invoices report.

HOLD FIRE ON THIS

I have discovered that a recent Windows update did not complete properly and left me with a few other issues. Those issues now corrected by a factory reset but I have not yet had a chance to reinstall Solar.

Not fixed by factory reset.

Date range fields are too narrow in, for instance, Transactions lists.
VAT Return form (green one) too small and cramped

Anyone else have this problem with W10?

Alan

Hi Alan,

I think that Solar Accounts is not designed to handle unusual Windows font settings - I will note this as a bug in Solar Accounts. You may be able to see the full date by changing the size of your system font as described here:
