Online Version

Hi Mark,
I've been trying out the offline version of Solar Accounts for the last few weeks and am very happy with it. However, I am now wondering whether the online version would be more suitable. Are there many differences in functionality? Can I transfer all the data I have input so far to the online version? Also, I have made a number of changes to my invoice format. Will I have to start from scratch again?
Thanks

Hi Jen,

Yes the online version offers a number of benefits compared to the offline version - see this page for details:

It's very easy to import all your existing data (including the invoice page layout) as described here:

Hi,

Please can I ask please another question about the online version..., can we pay an annual fee rather than having to plug in the credit card every month? Or is it recurring credit card payment, either would be good?
I made my first payment today.

Online version working very well, I like it and I don't really notice any difference to the desktop version that I have used for years, except the login (and I like that it saves having to back-up which is one less thing to worry about!)

Hi Janis,

Thanks for the email. So glad you like the new version.

The Online version of Solar Accounts will automatically deduct the monthly fee once you add your credit card details for the first time.

Do I have to use a credit card, or could I pay by direct debit?

Sorry, no, we only take credit card payments.
