Solar Accounts can accept and print Chinese characters, and can export invoices and statements with Chinese characters to Microsoft Excel.
However, the default PDF system in Solar Accounts does not print Chinese characters. Here is a workaround for producing PDF invoices and statements with Chinese characters:
If you are running Microsoft Windows 10 then tell Solar Accounts to 'Print' (instead of 'Export to PDF') then in the print dialog select the "Microsoft Print to PDF" 'printer' and save the file.
Similarly, if you are running Mac OS X then tell Solar Accounts to 'Print' (instead of 'Export to PDF') then in the print dialog select PDF > Save as PDF.
You will not be able to use the default email system in Solar Accounts because it uses the default PDF system. Instead, you will need to create the PDF file as described above, then use your email program to create a new email message and attach the PDF file.
