SA3 will not close on iMAC

For some reason SA3 will not close down properly and stays on the dock. It won't close and so won't reopen without rebooting the mac.
If I try to open from Finder I get this message. "The application

Hi Bill,

That seems to be a bug either in Solar Accounts or a recent version of OS X. Unfortunately we cannot offer a solution besides rebooting your computer - sorry.
