I am trying to prepare year end statements for the accountant but it seems all years are added together. i have changed the financial year to the one i want which was last year 31.03.16.
i also have the current financial year added into the previous year?
Not really sure what as happened.
Could you please advise on how to zero previous years so it only shows the current financial year i am trying to look at.
Hi Adam,
Click menu Setup > Financial Year > Start a new financial year. This will create an end-of-year transaction that resets the balance of the income and expense accounts to zero at the start of the financial year. You may need to do this several times if you have entered several years' worth of transactions.
