Day to day I use a Surface Pro 4 with a hi-res display. The home screen doesn't scale or look right with the hi-res screen (mainly the large button icons). SOme of the text is lost on the buttons. Is it possible to adjust this?

It sounds like you are running the old offline version of Solar Accounts - unfortunately this version does not support hi-res displays very well. The best approach may be to change your Windows display settings - right click anywhere on your desktop then select 'Display settings' > Customize display settings and change the font size to 100%
This problem has been fixed in the online version of Solar Accounts. here are a few other benefits of switching to the online version:
