Backup to USB

Trying to do a backup using solar Accounts online to a USB stick.
Followed instructions and a file has been created .slb rather than slr.
Cannot open .slb file.

Hi Liz,

The backup file you create with the online version can only be opened with the online version - not the offline version. To do that click menu File > New > Business > Import Existing File, then select the .slb file. Note that this will create a 'new' business with the backup data - it doesn't overwrite your existing business.
