Price List Accessibility in Solar Accounts

Hi. I would like to ask if it would be possible for you to make the price list accessible, and changeable, in Solar. There is a price list in the database because when I enter an item I have sold before on an invoice the price comes up. However, if I want to change a price I can only do it once it has been entered on an invoice. If I have an item that I don't sell very often I have to remember to increase the price next time I sell one. This may be months and is difficult to remember. Also, if I want to do a blanket price increase it would be a lot easier if I had access to the price list. I'm sure this wouldn't be difficult for you to do as the prices are all in the database.

Hi Paul

Unfortunately Solar Accounts doesn't have an internal price list. Whenever
it needs a price for an item it looks for the most recently-entered quote
or invoice and uses the price on that quote or invoice. This suggests a
workaround would be to create a dummy quote with the updated prices for
each item. Solar Accounts will then use those prices going forward until
you create a new invoice or quote with a different price, which will then
become the default price.

Hi

That works well. I've created a dummy quote dated 1/1/2050 so it's always at the bottom of my invoice list and will always be the most recent quote. Is there anywhere else I can park it other than my invoice list? A separate quote list for example.
Best Regards

Hi Paul,

You can filter the invoice list to exclude quotes by selecting 'Open
Invoices' and 'Closed Invoices' at the top of the list, but I'm afraid it
will always be displayed by default when you select 'Invoices' in the left
panel.
