HMRC Internal Server Error when Submitting VAT Return

Getting this error when i try and submit vat return

HMRC reported an internal server error (HTTP code 503). If the error persists contact HMRC customer support

That error suggests there is some temporary problem with HMRC's system.
Try again later today or tomorrow.
