Can I enquire whether there are plans to have automatic bank feeds in Solar, my accountant suggested this would be a good idea, is this something you are considering?

Sorry no, we don't plan to add automatic bank feeds to Solar Accounts in
the near future. Note that you can do it manually by downloading your bank
statement in .ofx or .qif format, then clicking menu File > Import From >
Bank Statement File

My only option is down also as a pdf I have never heard of the other formats? Will that work?

Sorry no, you cannot import data into Solar Accounts in .pdf format.
Please check with your bank as almost all banks provide the option to
download data in .ofx or .qif format.
