Can l download Solar accounts to windows 10 safely & work online with it ? , does it have to connect to my bank account ? , can you please send me instructions of how to download , l have a small business that l am certain solar accounts would work well for.

Hi Claire,

I'm not sure if you meant, 'work online' or 'work offline'. With our
software you download and install the software, then when you run it you
log in with a Username and password and you normally work online (ie. your
data is saved to 'the cloud' and you can access it from any computer).

Our software doesn't directly connect to your bank account. However, if
you can download transactions from your bank's website in .ofx or .qif
format then you can import these transactions into Solar Accounts by
clicking menu File > Import From > Bank Statement File.

Ok great thanks, l really have no need to work online , so which is best for me to download? , it’s all compatible with windows 10 now isn’t it ? I am sure l read somewhere that Solar Accounts were not compatible with Windows 10 ? Claire

If you haven't previously purchased a licence, then you will need to
download and run the software on this page:
https://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/download

Note that it will require an internet connection when you log in. However,
when you initially set up your file you can choose to store your data on
your computer. That means you can work without an internet connection
after you log in.
