Issue with Solar Accounts on latest MacOS

I still retain the old version of solar for a couple of clients however i can no longer launch Solar. i have recently uploaded the latest software on my Mac, could this be why ? and do you have any suggestions which may fix this ?

Hi Ian,

Yes unfortunately the latest version of MacOS cannot run 32-bit software,
and we don't have any plans to provide an update to the offline version of
Solar Accounts. Your best approach is to make a backup of all your data
then perform a 'factory reset' on your computer to revert to a previous
version of MacOS (please contact Apple for details of how to do this), then
re-install the offline version of Solar Accounts from our website
