Solar Accounts Compatibility on macOS 14 and Invoice Draft Queries

I currently use Solar Accounts on my 2017 iMac Desktop (purchased in 2018) I need to get myself a Mac book to be able to work whilst on the move, will I be able to use my brand new Mac book once I buy it? I think they are currently supplied running macOS 14 Sonoma. Will I be able to download Solar Accounts on that? If not, what’s the newest operating system on a Mac Book that I would be able to download Solar onto - I’ve 100% got to be able to log onto Solar with my work.

Is there yet any plans to be able to use Solar Accounts on an iPad platform?

Hello Kim,

Regarding your question about using Solar Accounts on a new Mac computer,
please tell me: Are you currently using the online version of Solar
Accounts? That is, do you log in with a User ID and password whenever you
start the program?

Hi Kim,

OK in that case yes Solar Accounts will run fine on macOS 14 Sonoma. You
can download Solar Accounts Online onto your computer from this web page
<https://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/download>, then run it and enter your
existing User ID and password to log in.

Hello Mark,

Another question, please. Is there any way of creating draft invoices without using the running sequence invoice numbers, i.e., typing them up and waiting till I get the go-ahead to send them out?

Kind regards,

Hi Kim,

It's not advisable to create an invoice until you have actually performed
the service or supplied the goods. In your case I recommend you create a
Quote with the required information, then when you are ready to create the
invoice open the Quote window and select More Options > Copy To Invoice.
