Hi Anthony,

The new graphics card shouldn't affect our software, but if you also
upgraded the operating system then it will not run 32-bit programs, so the
old offline version of Solar Accounts will not run. In that case you have
two options:

  1. Make a backup of all your data then perform a 'factory reset' on your
computer to revert to a previous version of MacOS (please contact Apple for
details of how to do this), then re-install the old offline version of
    Solar Accounts from our website

  2. Switch to the online version of Solar Accounts as described here
<https://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/upgrade>. Note that there is a monthly
    fee for this version.

Hi Mark

I have decided to get an old macbook pro, download the offline version of solar accounts and keep it just for my bookwork. Can you tell me the newest o/s its compatible with please so I don't buy the wrong laptop.

Thanks

Hi Tony

It seems that macOS 10.14 Mojave is the most recent version of macOS to
support 32-bit software, so the old desktop version of Solar Accounts
should run on that version. However, we haven't tested it on that version
for several years.
