I am registered for online VAT submission pilot and have received an email confirming that my registration is now complete. Sorry for the problem you are having in Solar Accounts when clicking the
link. Instead, click this link:

https://api.service.hmrc.gov.uk/oauth/authorize?scope=read%3Avat+write%3Avat&response_type=code&redirect_uri=urn%3Aietf%3Awg%3Aoauth%3A2.0%3Aoob&client_id=oxYYNfjnez_fSMKJh4Ib4elrIvga

Then paste the authorisation code into Solar Accounts. I'll note your
suggestion about adding this link to our help topic web page.
