I am now using a microsoft surface pro with solar accounts, the format of everything on the display is not filling the screen cells and columns do not open fully so I can see the content, all other software I have transferred over seems to be ok, so unsure if there is a setting on solar accounts I need to change.

I'm afraid there is not a setting in Solar Accounts which allows you to
adjust the size of the text boxes and columns on screen. However, you can
try to adjust the Windows system settings as described on this page:

Also the online version of Solar Accounts has better support for
high-resolution monitors, so if you are using the old offline version then
you may want to try switching to the online version as described here:
