We have been told by our accountant that our financial year this time will go into Mar 2023 to come into line with the new Inland Revenue arrangements. Our current year runs 1/10/2021 to 30/09/22. I am not currently able to change the end date in Solar accounts and was wondering if there is an update becoming available so that we are able to manually change the end date. Thank you
Hi Anne,
In Solar Accounts the financial year is always 12 months. However, this
only really has any effect when you view a report like Profit and Loss and
set the report period to 'Current Financial Year'. Instead, set the report
period to 'Custom' then enter the correct date range. Later when you start
the new financial year just change the date in the New Start Date field to
be correct (eg. 1 April 2023)
