Trial Features and Open Office Compatibility

Hi, I have recommended Solar to a friend due to him needing a MTD Solution. He has downloaded the Trial. Is he able to do his VAT Return as MTD in the Trial or only once Purchased.

2ndly he only has Open Source for Microsoft Office. Can he use that OK?

Hi Carol,

The 30-day trial period includes all features, so your friend should be
able to submit a VAT return under MTD during the Solar Accounts trial
period. If he has any problems, please ask him to email us the error
message and his User ID.

I'm not familiar with Open Source for Microsoft Office. Do you mean Open
Office? If so, that will be find - spreadsheets created by Solar Accounts
can be opened in Open Office.

Thanks Mark, that’s brilliant.

I think it is Open Office. He hasn’t bought Office he just uses the Free Version.
