Hello i have just come across an old customs and excise form C79 period ending June 2018 is there a way I can claim this amount on the form thru Solar accounts software if so how do I do it thanks Terry

You will need to check with HMRC to see whether you can include the VAT amount paid on your C79 form on your next VAT return. If so, just enter the payment dated in the current VAT period as described here:

Also, when you come to calculating your annual taxable profit you will need to exclude this item from the calculation - please check with your accountant or local tax office.
